About Artist, Meg Cole

Meg lives in a beautiful forest environment east of Melbourne. Here she draws artistic inspiration and a passionate motivation to protect and conserve our natural world. Meg was born in 1978 and raised in the Gippsland countryside. She is largely a self-taught artist who has drawn and painted from an early age. Meg educated herself through her own patient observations of nature’s forms, textures and colours. Meg Cole works mostly in pencil, using a combination of colour and graphite. Her drawings can take up to two hundred hours to complete.
